About Us
Mercury Zeitgeist was first established in the Twin Cities metropolitan area back in September of 1994 by then-business partners James Bauer and James Peebles. Our first assignment came from Marvel Films and New World Pictures under the guise of a show opener for Fox Television’s “Spider-Man” series. Upon completion of this breakthrough project Mercury Zeitgeist moved toward the creation of interactive content for the burgeoning gaming industry. A couple of smaller assignments followed.
The original Mercury Zeitgeist Film Studios closed their doors in mid-1996. After a 10-year absence, James Bauer determined it was time to take Mercury Zeitgeist out of mothballs, drop the constricting
"Film Studios",and re-launch it with creative partner Adam Broit. Together James and Adam have created 5 unique IP’s along with a complete cast of oddball characters that best reflect the intangible weirdness that well-describes them.
Along with IP content and ideation, we also create web sites, animated film and video content, interactive gaming, commercials, and print media services, project management, and copy/tech writing services.
